This certificate focuses on building skills for natal chart interpretation. The required courses provide students with the skills they need to successfully interpret a natal chart, an understanding of many of the types of tools they can use (and any controversies surrounding them) and a consideration of the ethical issues involved. It gives students a broad enough view that they can also understand the different approaches available for interpretation (such as traditional, modern, or evolutionary) so they can decide for themselves what direction interests them further.
Jyotish Guru Dr. S.R. Shastri is a professional astrologer based in USA, India. Immersed in the astrology community at all levels, he lectures locally and internationally and helps to organize a conference in USA, India on an annual basis. He favourite thing is getting people excited about astrology, and holds hope that it will one day be understood and accepted broadly enough that it returns to its roots as an essential part of education.
Jyotish Guru Dr. S.R. Shastri practices a fusion of traditional and modern techniques and has a degree from College where he is a current faculty member and Director of Operations. Jyotish Guru Dr. S.R. Shastri served as an OPA board member, is a peer group leader, a contributing author to The Professional Astrologer, and is OPA’s western Canadian Satellite Representative. As a Cree Metis, he is fascinated by indigenous star culture, and gardens using the cycles of the moon as her guide.
Certified as a peer group leader by the Organization for Professional Astrology, she serves on their board as Director of Publications and Canadian representative. He is a graduate of the College degree program and currently serves as Director of Operations.
